I have been living with this guy now 10 years and we have a child. I am wondering if he will ever marry me. He will say sure I will marry you anytime. But my question is he just enjoying all the benifits? Now it has become the same old thing and I feel like I am in a rut. Am I fooling myself? Should I tell him step up to the plate or get off the stove?

Enjoying the ”benefits?” For ten years? With a kid? Enjoying what benefits? Sounds like he’s a stand up guy who’s a father and a responsible life-partner, at least unless there’s something you’re not telling me here. Why the obsession for a piece of paper to legitimize what appears to be working out just fine without the legal stuff?
